About Off Dial products
Off Dial Watches sells independently customised watches featuring dials painted and finished by hand. Individual product pages describe the base watch, edition size (where applicable), price, dispatch estimate and other product-specific details.
Where a product uses a third-party watch as its base, Off Dial Watches is not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by or sponsored by that manufacturer unless expressly stated otherwise. Modification may affect any original manufacturer's warranty. Your statutory rights against Off Dial Watches are not affected.
Because every dial is painted by hand, small variations in brushwork, texture, colour placement and spacing are expected and form part of the handmade character of each watch.
Prices and payment
Product prices vary and are shown on the relevant product page and again at checkout. The price displayed for the product you order at checkout is the price that applies to that order, subject to any obvious pricing or technical error.
UK shipping is £15 per order and international shipping is £25 per order, unless a different charge is clearly shown before payment.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Store prices are set in GBP, but Stripe may offer eligible customers the option to pay an automatically converted amount in a local currency.
International import duties, taxes, brokerage and destination-country handling fees are not included unless expressly stated.
Placing an order
Please check the product, quantity, delivery destination and total price before paying. After successful payment, we will send an order confirmation to the email address supplied at checkout.
We may decline or cancel an order where we cannot fulfil it, an edition has sold out, there is an obvious pricing or technical error, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If we cancel after taking payment, we will refund the relevant amount.
Made-to-order products and dispatch
Many Off Dial watches are made to order. Unless a product page or order confirmation states a different timescale, we aim to dispatch within 14 days of purchase.
Cancellation, returns and refunds
Our Returns & refunds policy forms part of these terms. For standard catalogue products, being made to order does not by itself remove a consumer's statutory cancellation rights.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Shipping
Our Shipping policy explains dispatch, delivery and international charges. Customers ordering outside the UK are responsible for destination-country import duties, taxes and handling charges unless we explicitly state otherwise.
Off Dial warranty
Unless a product page says otherwise, new Off Dial watches are supplied with a 2-year Off Dial Watches warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal use. The warranty includes defects in the hand-finished dial, dial installation, reassembly and functional performance.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage caused by use, accidental damage, misuse, neglect, theft or loss, or unauthorised repair or modification. Water resistance is covered only where Off Dial expressly states that the finished watch has been pressure-tested and states the applicable test conditions.
The commercial warranty is in addition to, and does not replace or limit, your statutory consumer rights. Full details are set out in our Warranty policy.
Website and product information
We try to ensure descriptions, photographs, prices and availability are accurate. Screen settings and the handmade nature of each dial mean colours and fine details may appear slightly different in person.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Governing law
If you are a UK consumer, these terms are governed by the law applicable to your part of the United Kingdom and do not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. If you live outside the UK, you may also have mandatory rights under the law of your country of residence.
