Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

This privacy notice explains how Off Dial Watches uses personal information when you visit the website, place an order, or contact us.

Who we are

Off Dial Watches is the trading name used for this store. The legal seller and data-controller details are available below.

Information we collect

Why we use your information

We use personal information to:

Our lawful bases

We generally rely on contract where information is needed to process an order, legal obligation where records must be kept by law, and legitimate interests for proportionate fraud prevention, security and business administration. If we introduce optional marketing that relies on consent, you will be able to withdraw that consent.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Off Dial Watches does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Stripe processes payment and fraud-prevention information under its own privacy terms.

Email

We use an email delivery provider, currently Resend, to send transactional messages such as order confirmations and dispatch updates. We also use email services to receive and respond to messages sent to hello@offdial.co.uk.

Who we share information with

We share information only where reasonably necessary to operate the store or meet legal obligations. This may include Stripe, Resend, our website hosting and database providers, delivery carriers, professional advisers, and public authorities where required by law. We do not sell customer personal data.

International transfers

Some service providers may process personal information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards or legal mechanisms required by UK data protection law.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Order and accounting records may be retained for several years where needed for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, warranty, dispute handling or other legal obligations. Enquiry information that does not lead to an order may be deleted sooner when it is no longer needed.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights including access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

To exercise a right, email hello@offdial.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we use your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and similar technology

The current Off Dial website does not intentionally use non-essential advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe Checkout and other essential service providers may use technology necessary for security, fraud prevention and payment processing. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this notice and request consent where required.

Changes to this notice

We may update this privacy notice as the website or our service providers change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
